Good Morning! I had a great Independence Day Holiday and I hope you all did too! Nice that we have a short week, but looks like a scortcher. Tough sleeping and need to stay well lubricated.
We sometimes seem to take it for granted, but I was reminded this weekend that Vermont has the oldest Constitional Right for our state citizens to hunt and fish:
Adopted in 1793, Vermont's Constitution echoes some of the Declaration of Independence. It also contains this clause: "The inhabitants of this State shall have liberty in seasonable times, to hunt and fowl on the lands they hold, and on other lands not inclosed, and in like manner to fish in all boatable and other waters (not private property) under proper regulations, to be made and provided by the General Assembly."

Yeah, we have that right in New York as well. Only they make us pay nearly 100 bucks a year!!!!

Our Resident combo license that allows fishing and deer/bear small game hunting at $32 is a bargain. Not too bad for out of stae at $120 or just $90 for hunting.

Morning everyone! I think I need both of those red bulls, Rich...LOL! Draggin' ass today after a great weekend. Lockdown had to be out of the house by 7am for an appt, so he was a little on the tired side too. I hope everyone is dealing with that nasty heat alright. You guys aren't used to that shit, and most don't have central air. Hope it breaks for you soon.

I always like me a hearty breakfast Big Rich! I put on over 500 miles this weekend! An early ride up near Indian Lake on Saturday, Sylvan Beach and Dinasaur BBQ Sunday and then Alexandria Bay yesterday! I'm dealing ok with the heat and humidity, I just worry about people that have to work out in it!! Stay well hydrated everyone and don't overdue it!

Well, Waterbury is about 1 1/2 hours north of Bennignton, but as it gets closer to July 23 and the CrossRoads Rally, I'll coordinate my arrival and potential camping spot. I'll have to stop by and see Ted and see if he can give me some camping hints for the fun areas.
Vern - about time you left the county on that purple scoot! Nice run over to Bennington on RT 7 which is the route we take to the Vous.

Spent Sunday inside, sick ... don't think it was Chainsaw's cooking (good eats, good company!), whole 'nother issue ... but got out yesterday for a liquid diet of orange freezes.
